Getupdated got the honour to create the concept, design and technical implementation for Microsoft Sweden’s new intranet called ‘The Inside’. This new digital community for Microsoft employees will be based on Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007.

“With the help of Getupdated we’ll create an intranet that’s a modern digital community and information source for Microsoft employees”, says Jonas Liljegren (Online Marketing Manager Microsoft Sweden).

We’ll therefore use all the most popular functions that are used frequently on the web.
“Focus on the new intranet is increased engagement from the employees”, says Jonas Liljegren. He continues: It’s been a natural step for us to use mechanisms that given communities, blogs and news on Internet such a broad usage and interaction. And it’s there we can take advantage of Getupdated’s experience and new and modern solutions on Internet.

Getupdated will bring a full end-to-end solution, designing the intranet and finally be responsible for the technical implementation. Many new functions will be included in the new platform such as custom made solutions for mobile terminals.
