Google Inc is about to introduce a new online business software for companies. It’s designed in such a simple way that workers of the same organization can now share information amongst each other. The software named as “Team Edition” is to be launched very soon. This is another of Google’s latest attempt to attract web users to their free applications. This step has posed a threat to their biggest rival Microsoft Corp who has invented profitable applications such as Word Processors, Spread Sheet and other such programs.
The launch of this software clashes with Microsoft’s step to take over Yahoo Inc. This is the second time Google has upgraded a business program only to prove that it’s a emerging leader in software applications space. According to figures collected by Mountain-View based Company, more than 500,000 businesses have signed up for Google’s applications. In the year 2007, the sale from software and online advertising from Google, amounted to $181million.
