Google Groups Comes Out Of Its Beta Version
After few months of testing, Google Groups is at last on the verge of officially launching the new version of Google Groups. There are various new features including the ability to add graphics as well as to share files.
Lets take a quick look of the new features added to Google Groups:
- Users can create as well as contribute to various shared web pages with the help of simple drag, cut, paste and similar options.
- Users can create their own look by choosing your own images, colors and style. They can also add their own snaps.
- Users can view other people’s profile in the group.
- Users can share files and post documents that can be viewed by others.
- Users can read group discussions easily in Gmail-style interface.
Reports suggest the flip site of these handy features is the danger of spamming Google Groups. Users can upload around 100 MBs of zip or rar file without any restrictions. The spammers usually divide huge files into small ones in order to make it easy to share.
