Google Talk for ipod
Google has made the announcement of the new version of the Google Talk messaging service made for the Apple iPhone. The announcement comes just in time for the expected 11 July release of the new 3G iPhone.
The Google Talk Blog, Talkabout, mentioned:
Our new version of Google Talk is designed specifically for the iPhone; it runs in the iPhone’s browser, so you do not need to download or install anything. Just visit www.google.com/talk on your iPhone, sign in, and start chatting.
Google wants to capture the mobile market just the way they have done with the search market. They know that timely innovations will play a big part in it.
Improving the search services for mobile search for BlackBerry, Google has just updated the search functionality for BlackBerry. BlackBerry is the popular/preferred mobile device for the business world.
The iPhone, an Internet-enabled multimedia mobile phone, is designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It comes with a multi-touch screen along with virtual keyboard / buttons, albeit with minimum hardware input.
