Hakia licenses OntoSem- it’s Ontological Semantics Search Technology
Hakia.com, the semantics oriented meaning-based search engine, is now licensing its Ontological Semantic technology; hakia OntoSem. Illinois-based RiverGlass, Inc. is the first licensee, and will work to enhance their existing real-time analytics solutions with OntoSem.
OntoSem’s a one of its kind software uses advanced technology and methodology to process language. It accesses full meanings of the text it handles. It can also be used as a language-independent ontology that has thousands of interrelated concepts. It also translates the sentence approximately completely understanding the sentence by the native speaker.
For developers less willing or able to integrate OntoSem a set of APIs will also be available, enabling them to more easily realise the benefits of leveraging hakia’s analytical capabilities.
SunHerald published:
“Hakia OntoSem is a modular, extensible, and adaptable toolset for government, business, education and research applications to enable developers to use the meaning of language and not just text string matching for applications, including:
o information retrieval, analysis, and distribution
o text summarization
o information assurance and security
o machine translation
o ontology support
o terminology standardization
o supply chain automation”
