About the European Internet Marketing Survey (2007)
This survey was done of advertisers and agencies in France, Spain and Italy and consisted of 26 questions, where 95 advertisers and double as many agencies completed the survey. All the respondents received a e-mail to participate in the Internet Marketing survey, and were then taken to a web-based form to fill out.

Conclusions from the Internet Marketing Survey in Europe
* Banner advertising: Approximately 45 % of the advertisers spend over £35k during the last year.
* Pay Per Click: 37 % of the agencies spent at least £35k, while 31 % of advertisers also spent over that amount. The PPC market will most likely face a lot more competition during 2007 compared to last year. 62 % of advertisers plan to increase the Pay Per Click spending, according to the survey.
* Search Engine Optimisation: All nationalities in the survey will be focusing more on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), then PPC.
* Mobile Search: Many advertisers plan on utilizing mobile search and Pay Per Call this year.
* Reasons for SEO and PPC: The main objectives for choosing Search Engine Optimisation and PPC are to generate immediate sales and to build brand awareness, advertisers said.
