MewSeek Brings P2P Downloading to the iPhone
The iPhone is presently one of the few phones that offer flexibility and features to its owners. Thanks to the App Store, there is a range of applications placed at their disposal in order to do almost any job. However, developers who cannot get their apps into the App Store usually release their apps to those that have jailbroken their iPhones through repositories available via Cydia and Installer.
Thanks to Cydia, some other types of iPhone apps will be released. Previously known as iSlsk, Mewseek is the native P2P soulseek client for the iPhone. This allows consumers to download free songs on their iPhone legally. The software is not yet stable enough and a few features have been disabled for the time being. These would be enabled when the website that runs it finds some better ways of implementing them.
The software is very easy to operate. One has to start by entering the username and password in order to connect. The application searches just about every song that is asked for. In order to play the files, which are downloaded, users need to download a player called PwnPlayer from Cydia.
