MySpace re-launches its classifieds
MySpace recently re-launched its classified section with the help of Oodle. The latter will be developing APIs to ensure a cohesive system. The best part about the classifieds is that they will help reach out to larger audience using the Oodle classified network.
The APIs to be developed will integrate user profiles with bulletin boards, blogs, profiles, etc. There are a few helpful features like the pricing guide, making it more personalised. It even adds up to functionality.
The growth of MySpace classified will indirectly affect the visibility of Oodle. Currently MySpace has 1 million unique users per month for its classifieds system, with thousands of new ads created every month. This figure should go up once the new MySpace Classifieds comes into function.
The new APIs to be developed by Oodle is aimed at creating a free-flowing system for ad promotion within the MySpace community. MySpace has been shifting its advertising capabilities to align with the application platform. The new classifieds powered by Ooodle will add more value to the MySpace property.
