Procuring a pill now a click away
Now, for the first time, women in Britain can avoid seeing doctors for their contraceptive pill needs. The contraceptive pill can now be legally obtained on a website; DrThom. The online medical resource offers them under a new service by DrThom that assures three month’s supply for just £29.99.
A simple procedure needs to be followed for this. To begin with, women already on the contraceptive pill will benefit from the scheme. Soon those who have never consumed a pill before will also be able to use it. Before availing it, the patients are to fill in a health related questionnaire so that a medico from the website can put up follow-up question(s).
It is important that the patients disclose true facts related to their health history as well as their age as DrThom will be relying on your answers in good faith. Doctor Thomas Van explained:
The aim of this new contraceptive service is to make it more convenient and easier for women in the UK to access the Pill. This specialised service will be more helpful for women living a long way away from her GP-family doctor, or if owing to some reason she faces difficulty in seeing the doctor.
Even though the eligibility age is seventeen years in Northern Ireland and 16 years in England, Scotland and Wales, DrThom will be prescribing the pill only to women 18 and above.
