Skycore LLC, a developer of Cellyspace.com, has launched the new, effective RSS-to-MMS publishing tool for content providers that will them to automatically convert and deliver syndicated RSS feeds - directly to mobile subscribers’ messaging inboxes.

The RSS content will make mobile syndication much more convenient and readily available, by delivering multimedia feeds rather than those short, text-only feeds subscribers. Rich Eicher, president of Skycore, stated: “To my knowledge, we are the first and presently the only RSS-to-MMS service to launch. Any content provider can mobilise their feed. It is the ultimate off-deck tool since there are already thousands of feeds on the Web, which can be instantly made mobile through Cellyspace.”

He added these feeds will comprise links back to the main content source and drive additional traffic to that WAP/Web site on an ongoing basis. Thanks to this technology, the feed can be viewed without a subscriber first logging onto a WAP site or launching a feed reader application.

Subscribers will be alerted when they receive the feed and can see it right away or at their discretion since it gets stored in their inbox. The content is presented in a slide-show format - each with an image, 300 characters of text - and an optional URL link for additional content, data or promotions.
