WPP acquires 24/7 Real Media for $US 649 million
There been quite a few acquisitions in the Internet marketing field lately, and here comes another one.
WPP, a London based communications & services group, today announced that they acquires the publicly traded 24/7 Real Media for $US649 million.
WPP will be one of the world’s largest communications services groups, employing almost 100 000 people, working in over 2,000 offices in 106 countries.
According to a rumor, 24/7 Real Media was previously being looked at by Microsoft for $1 billion.
