YouTube gets sued by English Premier League
The English Premier League will sue YouTube for alleged copyright infringement. The football organisation claims that Google owned YouTube are encouraging footage to be viewed on its site. Premier League are now claiming unspecified damages.
YouTube has denied those claims, saying the suit threatens the internet.
Well, I’m not really surprised that YouTube gets even more lawsuits against them. And I certainly think it’s high time to get some legal precedent in those cases.
Not long ago, Viacom filled a £501m lawsuit for illegally showing clips from its TV programs.
So, who is next on turn to sue YouTube? And who do you think will win?
